The Kadai Charcoal Starter is incredibly useful when you need your charcoal ready to cook over in a hurry.
Fill your charcoal starter with charcoal and light a small kindling fire or fire lighters on the sand in the base of your kadai. Now stand the charcoal starter over the fire allowing the flames and heat to rise up through the come shaped charcoal starter.
It will take 10 minutes or so for the charcoal to be ready to use, you will see a red glow coming from the base when ready. Carefully tip out the burning charcoal using heat proof Kadai gloves, rearrange the charcoal with tongs and your charcoal is ready to cook over.
